About Me

Hello, I’m Megan Busk, a birth doula and childbirth educator serving families in Utah and Juab counties. I’ve had the privilege of supporting couples through many different types of births, including hospital, home, and birth center births, as well as VBAC, medicated, and cesarean births.

I truly love this work and am always learning and staying up to date so I can be prepared to support families through the many different ways birth can unfold.

My passion for this work began with the birth of my first daughter. I had an unmedicated hospital birth with a wonderful support team, and it completely changed the way I saw birth. I experienced firsthand how much knowledge matters, how capable our bodies are, and how important it is to feel supported and have options. Each of my births since then has taught me something new, and those experiences shape the way I care for the families I work with.

I would love to support you as you prepare for this incredible transformative time and help you walk into birth feeling ready and supported.

How I Support You

Support starts here!

When you hire me as your doula, my goal is simple. I want you to feel prepared, supported, and calm as you head into labor. From the time we start working together, I keep communication open so you always feel heard and never alone in the process.

During labor, I focus on creating a space where you feel cared for and your partner feels confident in how to support you. We are a team! I help you work through each stage of labor utilizing comfort measures, words of encouragement, and a steady presence, while also making sure your wishes are known and respected.

As a childbirth educator, I love helping couples understand what’s happening in pregnancy and labor so they can make informed decisions and feel ready for what’s ahead. When you understand your options, you’re able to be an active participant in your birth and feel confident in the choices you’re making for yourself, your baby, and your family.

My role isn’t to take over your birth space, but to walk alongside you and your partner so you feel supported and ready for this transformative experience.
